The 2025 Supercross World Championship will be held for the first time in Argentina, in the City of Buenos Aires, with an inaugural date on a circuit set up at the Oscar and Juan Gálvez Racetrack in Villa Riachuelo. This event will mark the start of the 2025 season of the discipline governed by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme.

The format includes a SuperPole lap to determine the classification, timed practice sessions, and three finals per category. The Buenos Aires stage will be the first of five dates: it will continue in Vancouver (Canada), Gold Coast (Australia), Stockholm (Sweden), and conclude on December 13 in Cape Town (South Africa).

According to official estimates, the Buenos Aires Grand Prix will reach about 200 million viewers through various platforms. The announcement was made at the Obelisk with the presence of Head of Government Jorge Macri and Secretary of Sports Fabián Turnes, along with riders Ken Roczen, Justin Cooper, Jason Anderson, Christian Craig, Shane McElrath, and 19-year-old American Haiden Deegan, who will have his international debut in Supercross in Buenos Aires.

Earlier, at the Racetrack, Turnes participated in a conference with Tom Burwell, CEO of World Supercross. The event will include competitions in the SX1 (450 cc) and SX2 (250 cc) categories.
